My wife, Pat, who sadly died in March last year was a close friend of Barbara's and was involved in the Moss Side nocturnal cat feeding. Barbara was Pat's chief bridesmaid when we married in 1978.
We lost touch somewhat when Barbara moved north and we move south to Devon but always kept in touch with birthday and christmas cards.
Pat and Barbara shared a birthday, 9th October, and often referred to each other as "Twinnie".
Happy memories.
